Some random thoughts.

This is a new series I thought I would start up called journal. Point is simple really, if there’s anything not really worth of value, then I will put it in to this series. This is not to say that all my other posts are incredibly important, they just have more substance than this series of random thoughts.

Doesn’t this blog look a little different or am I tripping?
I thought there was a menu of some sort on this blog. Looking through archive.org and archive.is shows that I am hallucinating more than an LLM generating code.

Back to school
So your boy is starting back in school this week, let’s hope this semester goes well. Good luck to you also if you’re starting up school again.

LinkedIn is pretty shit isn’t it?
Like most people, I started up a LinkedIn years back because I was told it was good for “networking” and such. I don’t really know of many people who have gotten a job solely because someone saw their impressive LinkedIn profile combined with their Open to Work status. Well anyway, this was my situation a while back because after getting CompTIA net+ and sec+ I made a post and even got my college prof to ask out his little community and I didn’t receive any response.

As a privacy conscious person, I opted in for this shit platform and made myself a profile. Every week I get notifications saying people have been checking out my profile and over the course of years, I haven’t heard of one legitimate offer for a job. Gives me a platform to chat with people who look up my name online I guess. So sometimes I get random connection requests from some people I know.

What even is the difference between categories and series
I looked this up online, and it appears they’re pretty much the same, except series is done sequentially. Seeing as how I don’t know if this journal will build up on a previous journal entry, I don’t know if I should make it a series or category. In any case, I will put them in both sections.

Going over my Docs series, I realize that this random grouping of Docs isn’t really sequential, so I might have to move it to the “categories” section instead if I’m not too lazy to do so.

Music
What are you guys listening to? (leave it down in the comments)

Usually I switch genres very often after a month or so but for this entire Summer and the latter half of Spring, I have been listening to Ska Punk. It has that perfect blend of Ska and Punk Rock that just fits together so well.
